  • What areas do you cover?
Although we are based in Edmonton, Alberta, we cover all areas of Alberta with sufficient scheduling.
  • Are drones being used on golf courses?
Yes, drones are being used on golf courses in a variety of ways: Marketing: Drones capture aerial images and videos that showcase the scale of a golf course, which is impossible with ground-based photography. They can also provide a hole-by-hole virtual tour, which can be intriguing for potential players. Vegetation Monitoring: Drones equipped with special sensors can gather data that is otherwise invisible to the naked human eye. They can generate maps that correlate specific data types to actual locations in the golf course. This can be used to assess the health of trees, grass, and other forms of vegetation. Maintenance and Planning: Drones can survey a golf course to assist in the planning and maintenance. Some courses are using drones four to six days per week during the growing season to keep up with daily changes in turf conditions. However, it’s important to note that while it’s legal to fly a drone over a golf course, permission should always be sought from the owner or manager of the golf course, as it is private property.
